The Fermilab Experiment Portfolios are groups of photos for experiments, and other organizations, at Fermilab.
Anyone with a Fermilab Services account can add photos to a portfolio.
A portfolio slide show is automatically created whenever an Experiment's portfolio is accessed.

Launch an Experiment Portfolio slide show|
The purpose of the rest of this page is (a) to show all of the experiment portfolios, and (b) to allow you to play with the way the slide show for your portfolio is played.
The first purpose is simply the list of the portfolios, shown below.
The second purpose is accomplished with the input data after this list. You adjust the dwell time for each image, and the amount of "Zoom" applied withing the Ken Burns effect. You can also turn on or off the experiment name and the caption information. When you hit "submit" below, the page will reload with all of the experiment links, below, reconstituted to follow the parameters you specify. Since all of these parameters are contained within the URL (so-called "GET parameters"), you can also play with the URL itself to get the show that is most appropriate for your needs.
These slide shows will have dwell=25000, zoom=1.3, captions ON, Title ON
All Portfolio Pictures (1649 images, total)
|The total duration of a slide show will be about: |
(the number of images) times (the dwell time minus 1000 msec).
So for ten images and 25000 dwell time, the total time will be about 240 seconds
Change the characteristics of these slide shows
To make a channel out of your experiment's slide show, get the parameters what you want/like (what looks good), click on your experiment, and then copy the URL of the slide show. Then add this URL as a new channel in the system.
The X on the second line will launch a slide show that has no Ken Burns Effect, and will only advance when you "click", somehow, on the image (e.g., with a presentation clicker).
